Yes; NuFi wallet is self-custodial (also known as non-custodial), meaning only you can access your wallet and the funds inside it.
Your wallet’s private keys (which are needed to use the wallet) never leave your device – they are not transmitted online and are not visible to NuFi nor to any service you use with your NuFi wallet (such as a DApp).
Yes; you can restore your existing wallet into NuFi in 3 ways:
1) using a 12, 15 or 24-word recovery phrase;
2) using SLIP39 Recovery Shares; or
3) by pairing a hardware wallet (6 devices supported).

You can use NuFi to securely send and receive any tokens and NFTs on supported blockchains, which include Bitcoin, Cardano, Solana, Ethereum, all EVM chains (such as Base, Polygon and Arbitrum), SVM chains like Eclipse and SonicSVM, and Flow.

To swap crypto-for-crypto across different blockchains, you do not have to register or complete KYC; however, our Exchange partner Changelly may require you to complete KYC in the event that a transaction is believed to go against Changelly’s policies (e.g. you’re in a country that isn’t permitted to use the service, or your wallet is on a blacklist, etc).
To use the Solana DEX and Cardano DEX, you do not need to register or complete KYC.
When you buy crypto via our partner Moonpay, you typically receive the purchased crypto in your wallet within minutes (for card purchases), while purchases via bank transfer may take one business day to complete.
If you sell crypto via Moonpay, the money is typically deposited into your bank account within one to three days.
When you swap crypto for crypto using the Exchange (powered by Changelly), it takes around 10 minutes to receive the crypto in your wallet.
Token swaps made using the Solana DEX or Cardano DEX are near-instant, and you’ll receive the new token within a few seconds.
